How Floating Works

Floating therapy, also known as sensory deprivation involves floating effortlessly in a salt-water solution of approximately 11 inches of water and 1200lbs of Epsom salt. With the pressure of gravity removed from the body, muscle tension releases, inflammation levels reduce and the parasympathetic nervous system is activated. This effect on the nervous system reduces cortisol levels, symptoms of anxiety & depression and breaks the stress cycle. Floating redirects your focus inward to facilitate meditation and introspection.

No Sight

You may choose to leave the underwater light on or float in total darkness. Our oasis tank is enclosed however you may leave the door open or closed

No Sound

The float tanks and rooms are insulated against sound, leaving you in peaceful silence. We do offer meditation music and guided meditation options

No Touch

The warm salt solution is kept at 34.1ºC, the same temperature as your skin. You'll lose track of where the air ends and the water begins.

Magnesium

Magnesium (Epsom Salt) is one of 4 nutrients required by every cell in the body. From pain relief, inflammation reduction to improving headaches and sleep
